Drifting off
Going to bed in the middle of the day is my new favourite past time. There is something about climbing under the covers in jeans and strappy top, blocking out the light with an arm and dreaming up the most unlikely scenarios. Little flashes of people, things, places, of yesterday's falling off the chair and what came before and after. There is something about drifting away on those thoughts.
Even if it leaves me sleepy and flushed and snapping in a turtle-esque way at the world after I'm woken, converse laces untied because I 'can't be bothered', (as someone correctly assumed after having tripped over them).

I like it when you're staying up into the wee hours of the morning at it gets to the point where your so tired, you cant distinguish reality from dream and when people speak to you you forget to reply because you only think it in your head and can't understand why no one can hear you.
