Cucumber Lettuce Dance
Surprisingly, Critical Thinking has picked up, and istead of writing out definitions of bias and vested interest as we did last year, we have heated, satisfying debates about the difference between utilitarianism approaches and deontological theories. As unexciting as it all sounds, applied to the right situations, one discussion could span hours.
The feel-good factor that comes from having a productive argument, plus the influence of Diana Ross in the form of Chain Reaction, Baby Love and Stop! In the Name of Love led to crazy cucumber/lettuce dances before the cage of the budgie, who needs more persuasion to fly around than I can give him. He looked keen today though, and twitched around with his wings, probably an unsofisticated form of budgie dancing. If anyone had seen me, wiggling hips and waving a slice of cucumber in one hand, and a floppy bit of lettuce in the other, I would have died of embarrassment.
No-one saw me, fortunately, so I've lived to tell the tale!
