Non-Stick-Insect-ness
Every couple of days, Mami looks at me and says: "I'm going to the gym today." As if my non-stick-insect-ness reminds her that if she doesn't want her body to metamorph into something resembling mine, she had better do some exercise, in the form of strapping herself to torture machines at the gym.
Or perhaps she says this in the vain hope that I will realise my laziness when it comes to exercise, and say: "What a good idea. I'm coming too. Hang on - let me pack my torture clothes and set up a playlist of torture tracks on my iPod."
Gone are the days when I went to the gym every other day. Also, long gone is that summer holiday, when I ate almost nothing for two months, scraping off the pizza toppings, refusing ice-cream, eating only a salad when at a restaurant. *almost looks wistful*
In my opinion, swimming once a week is enough. It keeps the guilty nagging voices away for about two days - the day I go swimming, and the day after, when I convince myself that my body is still burning more energy than normal to make up for the hour of exercise, meaning I can eat as much as I want without worrying where it goes.
I'm wearing suncream inside. Is this normal? I think I have a suncream addiction.
