The solution to the trivial problem would be to use tin foil instead of baking paper or cling film.
As for falling asleep in the shower, I often have that feeling of being detached from the environment - you know when you are nearly asleep and you know you aren't actually taking in anything... It's great because you are standing there and then suddenly 10 minutes has flown by.
It's also bad because then you have siblings banging on the door telling you to get out and you haven't washed your hair yet.
