Help!! I have no control over any of my main characters. They are all turning against me, being moody, sarcastic, and generally evil. Please behave! 8100 words down, too many still to go. I am writing away manically, at the same time attempting to block out the noise of fireworks by shrugging my shoulders up to press against my ears, and drinking coffee hands-free (by making a book tower and placing the coffee on top with a straw. Genius, no?)
