Let do, let go, let pass
"Dance and drink and screw, because there's nothing else to do." - Pulp, Common People
Whilst I do not agree with the above statement in any way, I am very very aware that there are people who DO think this. This is not a slagging off blog entry, more like a peace offering to the gods of dancing and drinking and screwing, who may or may not be looking on me from above shaking their heads and tutting and telling me that never having been properly drunk in sixteen and a half years is a condemnable offence in their eyes.
On the other side, there are the gods of sense and penguins, who think there really isn't much point in doing any of the above because "there's nothing else to do". These gods are more or less happy with me, and I'm sure they want to keep it that way.
But then there is the god of all things why oh why, who thinks why oh why is everyone getting so worked up about the concept of dancing and drinking and screwing because there's nothing else to do, and each to their own. This god thinks we should all be just a bit more laissez-faire.
(Don't be confused. I don't really believe that these gods exist. I only mentioned them to put across my point.)
