Me: Hello?

Random Person: Ummm...yeaahhhhhh...I'm calling to cancel a table I booked yesterday.

Me: Would you like to book for another day?

Random Person: *audible sniff* No...I don't think so. You see...all the railings in my wardrobe collapsed last night...*sniff*

Me: Ohhh dear. Well, good luck with that!

I have to say, I laughed inwardly. Quite a lot.
